The ‘Personal Hotspot’ feature found in iOS 4.3 will cost o2 ‘pay monthly’ customers an extra £7.50 a month for 500MB.

If you try to enable the new feature in iOS 4.3 using an o2 sim card you are prompted to visit http://www.o2.co.uk/iphonehelp/modem

The Personal Hotspot feature works without extra cost or set-up using a Three pay monthly sim card.

South Bank Juggler 550D T2i

My first trip out testing the EOS 550D T2i. A cold November morning in London. Stabilisation was a real problem, I used a monopod but looking at this footage it’s obvious I really needed a tripod. I found changing lenses a pain so stuck with the 50mm prime.
Editing in iMovie ’11 was quick and easy.
All footage shot in 720 50p, exported as 25p

Note to web developers using Flash

I’ve started to send the following note to web developers each time I get stuck with a Flash video whilst on an iPad, iPhone or iPod.

Hi,

I’ve just visited your site using my iPad and was unable to watch video content due to the use of Adobe Flash. Have you considered using the web standard HTML5 for video instead of Flash?

Kind regards,

Hopefully if enough users complain something may be done about it.

1Password on the iPad

Using 1Password on the iPad is terrible, I must be doing something wrong.
Here’s how I’m using it, every time Safari needs a password it takes
the following 8 steps:

Press the home button.
Find the 1Password app and launch it.
Enter the long master password.
Find the sites login details.
Copy the password to the clipboard.
Press the home button.
Go back into Safari.
Paste the password into the correct field.

Any ideas on speeding up this process?
